Gold Medal Service's Owner Named National Contractor of the Year
Mike Agugliaro, co-owner of New Jersey-based Gold Medal Service, has been named Contractor of the Year by Contractor Magazine.
Each year Contractor Magazine searches out a contractor who is "doing something so well that it's worth emulating," according to the magazine's award criteria.
Besides being co-owner of Gold Medal Service, Agugliaro is also the founder of CEO Warrior, which is creating a national movement in the home services industry. Agugliaro is helping other home service business owners grow their businesses and have more free time to be "warriors," at work and at home.
Gold Medal Service provides plumbing, heating, cooling, electric, drain, sewer and waterproofing services for homeowners throughout the state of New Jersey. The company grew from two guys in a truck to over $28 million home service empire, which puts Gold Medal among the top 2-3 percent in the nation. Agugliaro uses skills he learned growing up in martial arts to train and motivate his team and now other home service business owners.
In 2015, Agugliaro received Contractor Magazine’s national Contractor of the Month Award, which recognized the company’s superior code of ethics and its dedication to going above and beyond the typical call of duty.
